Personal:

Started running in November 2007 to get fit. Now I'm back almost to square one after back surgery. I did it once and I'll do it again.

"In truth, runners don't race other runners. They race against themselves: to conquer their wills, to transcend their weaknesses, to beat back their nightmares. And while a runner can't actually beat himself, he can beat his time. Even years into running, he can get better."  Running for His Life by Michael Hall.

7AM:  Idaho Falls, ID-  Quick run before we leave town and head back to Boise.  Ran the Greenbelt around the Snake River from my hotel across the river from the IF LDS Temple. Very scenic.  Saw a couple of fish rising and wished I brought my flyrod.  8:22/mi pace overall.

If I knew you were going to be in town, we could have hooked up for an early run! Next time give me a call when you are around.

Sorry about that. I had a hearing in St. Anthony last night so I assumed we were staying there or Rexburg. Didn't realize that we'd be in IF until late last night. I'll definitely look you up next time I'm there. Looking forward to meeting you in person @ SGM in a little over a week.

When are you heading down and where are you staying?

From Neil on Fri, Sep 24, 2010 at 13:44:06 from 164.165.24.5

Heading down w/ the wife and kids early Friday morning. We're towing a trailer and staying @ the McArthur Temple View RV Park. I waited too long to get a hotel room for the family and didn't want to commute from Hurricane or Las Vegas. FYI: I'll be at the expo on Friday and probably the pasta dinner.
